The challenge
Patients were calling clinics for everything, from booking to test results. Helixa needed a secure portal that worked for all ages and abilities.
Our approach
We ran interviews with patients aged 19 to 84 and designed an interface with large touch targets, plain language and a clear three-step booking flow.
The React front end connects to Helixa's scheduling and records systems through a secure API layer, with role-based access for clinicians.
The outcome
Two-thirds of bookings moved online within six months, freeing up reception teams and cutting wait times on the phone.
